Composition (per 5 ml)

• Ammonium chloride 138 mg (expectorant)

• Sodium citrate 57 mg (mucolytic)

• Diphenhydramine hydrochloride 14.08 mg (antihistamine with sedative action)

• Menthol 1.14 mg (soothing cooling agent)

Mechanism of Action

• Expectorant (ammonium chloride, sodium citrate): thins and loosens mucus, helping to clear it more easily

• Antihistamine (diphenhydramine): helps relieve sneezing, runny nose, throat irritation and suppresses cough; also has sedative properties .

• Menthol adds a mild cooling, soothing sensation in the throat

Indications

• Cough with mucus (productive cough)

• Cold/allergy symptoms: sneezing, runny nose, throat irritation, watery eyes
