FourDerm Cream

1. Composition:
o Chlorhexidine Gluconate (0.20% w/w): An antiseptic that cleanses the affected area of the skin to prevent infection.
o Clobetasol (0.05% w/w): A steroid that reduces redness, swelling, and itching by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers.
o Miconazole (2% w/w): An antifungal agent that stops the growth of fungi causing inflammation and redness.
o Neomycin (0.5% w/w): An antibiotic that kills bacteria responsible for skin infections.
2. Uses:
o Treatment of Skin Infections: Fourderm Cream is effective against bacterial and fungal infections of the skin. It inhibits the growth of microorganisms, clears infections, and relieves symptoms such as itching, redness, and swelling.
3. Application:
o Apply Fourderm Cream only externally, as advised by your doctor.
o Clean and dry the affected area before application.
o Spread a thin layer of the cream uniformly on the affected skin.
o Avoid covering the area with bandages or using heating pads unless directed by your doctor.
o If accidental exposure occurs in the eyes or mouth, wash thoroughly with water.
4. Side Effects (usually mild and temporary):
o Itching
o Thinning of skin
o Burning sensation at the application site
