Combiflam Suspension Syrup 60 ml

Composition

• Ibuprofen 100 mg / 5 ml (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug)

• Paracetamol 162.5 mg / 5 ml (analgesic and antipyretic)

Indications

• Relief of mild to moderate pain (e.g., headache, dental pain, musculoskeletal pain, strains, sprains)

• Reduction of fever in children and infants (≥6 years)

Mechanism of Action

• Ibuprofen reduces inflammation and pain by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis

• Paracetamol acts centrally to relieve pain and lower fever

Dosage & Administration

• Shake well before use

• Administer with or after food to lessen gastrointestinal upset

• Use a proper measuring device (cup, spoon, syringe) for accurate dosing

• If the child vomits within 30 minutes of dosing, repeat once; otherwise, skip and continue as per schedule

Onset & Duration

• Effects typically begin within 30 minutes

• Pain relief and fever reduction may last up to 6 hours
