Scabigard Lotion 100ml

Composition

Contains two active ingredients:

• Gamma‑benzene hexachloride (Lindane) 1% w/v – a pesticide that kills mites, lice, and their eggs

• Cetrimide 0.1% w/v – an antiseptic that cleanses the skin and helps prevent secondary bacterial infections

Uses

• Treatment of scabies (mite infestation)

• Treatment of lice (head lice and their eggs)

Mechanism of Action

• Lindane works by penetrating and killing parasites, immobilizing them and destroying their eggs

• Cetrimide acts as a disinfectant to cleanse the skin and reduce the risk of secondary infection

How to Use

1. Shake the bottle well.

2. For scabies: apply a thin, uniform layer over the entire body (excluding head, face, scalp, eyes, and mucous membranes). Wash off after 8–12 hours.
   For lice: apply to affected scalp areas per doctor’s instructions

3. Wear gloves during application to avoid exposure; wash hands afterward

4. Machine-wash bedding, clothes, and towels after treatment to kill any remaining mites
