Common Indications

Treats bacterial infections in multiple body regions, including:

• Respiratory tract: throat, tonsils, sinuses, bronchitis, pneumonia

• Ear, nose & throat (ENT): otitis media, sinus infections

• Urinary tract infections (UTI)

• Skin & soft‑tissue infections: cellulitis, ulcers

• Dental/gum infections like abscesses

• fever & H. pylori eradication (as part of combination therapy)

How to Use

• Dosage: As prescribed by a healthcare provider, typically twice daily, with or without food—take with consistent timing to avoid stomach upset

• Administration: Swallow whole; do not crush or chew

• Course completion: Always finish the full antibiotic course to avoid resistance, even if symptoms improve

Side Effects & Precautions

Common side effects:

• Gastrointestinal: diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort

• Skin reactions: rash, itching

• Others: headache, dizziness, bloating

Serious concerns:

• Allergic reactions (hives, swelling, breathing issues)—seek medical help immediately

• Rare tooth discoloration in children: maintain dental hygiene

Special cautions:

• Kidney or liver impairment: dose adjustments may be needed; consult physician

• Glandular fever (EBV/mononucleosis): may cause rash
