Composition

• Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) 250 mg / 5 ml

Indications

• Used for relief of fever and mild to moderate pain (e.g., headache, toothache, body aches, sore throat, cold/flu‑related pain) in children

Mechanism of Action

• Works centrally by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the brain, reducing pain and lowering body temperature

Dosage & Administration

• Shake well before use

• Administer with or after food to decrease stomach irritation (after food is preferred)

• Use a proper measuring device (cup, spoon, or syringe)

• Generally dosed at 10–15 mg/kg every 4–6 hours, not exceeding 4 doses in 24 hours

• If vomiting occurs within 30 minutes, repeat once; otherwise skip dose

Onset & Duration

• Relief usually begins within 30–60 minutes

• Peak effect within 3–4 hours, with duration approximately 4–6 hours
