Composition Chlorpheniramine 2 mg + Dextromethorphan 10 mg per 5 ml
Use Dry cough & allergy relief
Adult dose 5–10 ml every 6 h (max ~40 ml/day)
Kids (2–12 yrs) ~5 ml every 6 h if prescribed
Side effects Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, GI upset, headache
Serious risks Respiratory depression at high doses; drug interactions
Precautions Avoid in specific conditions; caution for pregnant/breastfeeding/liver
