Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) 120 mg per 5 ml
Indications
Used primarily in children to relieve:

Mild to moderate fever (including post‑vaccination fever)

Pain, such as headache, toothache, muscle or joint aches, sore throat, earache and cold/flu–related discomfort
Mechanism of Action
Paracetamol acts centrally in the brain to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis, leading to decreased pain and lowered body temperature
Dosage & Administration

Shake well before each use

Ideally administered after food to reduce stomach upset; can also be taken with food or milk

Measure dose precisely using the provided cup or syringe

Typical dose is 10–15 mg per kg of body weight every 4–6 hours, with a maximum of 4 doses in 24 hours

If a dose is vomited within 30 minutes, repeat once; if more than 30 minutes have passed, skip and follow regular schedule
Onset & Duration

Relief typically begins within 30–60 minutes, with peak effect around 3–4 hours

Effects usually last 4–6 hours
